AEGIS' roots lay within a now-legendary history of online gaming, spanning a massive list that would culminate within World of Warcraft (now, worlds beyond). Aegis became an official force during the Burning Crusade era of World of Warcraft, which brought together like-minded players in an exciting series of raid progression and camaraderie while enjoying an upper-tier position within the Lothar server.

AEGIS is home to a variety of players with a broad range of play styles and personalities. We can cite that family-oriented community and same cliché line "we alwayz help each othr out wit things" crap every other guild spews in general, but we realize that not everyone contributes or plays the same way; people like to sleep at keyboards or even get immersed so much that they ignore all chat for a day. We understand and keep things simple: Don't be a prick. Just have fun.

  • You know your class well.
  • You have put forth the time to gear yourself for the next step in content.
  • You like to discuss problems instead of complaining about them.
  • You are able to compromise, take criticism, and follow strategies/raid assignments.
  • You like bunnies, spaceships, dinosaurs, or any combination of the three.
  • Your self-policy is "it's my way or no way".
  • You get moody and offended when no one is available to help you.
  • You read 'Guild Leader' and 'Officer' as 'School Councilor' or 'Psychiatrist'.
  • You can't distinguish the difference between friends teasing in good fun vs. actual making fun.
  • You AFK frequently during raids.
  • You are often able to take care of yourself without needing others.
  • You don't mind handicapped people kicking your ass in PvP. Frequently.
  • You like to spend time with the guild when not raiding.
  • You can take an occasional offensive joke and laugh about it.
  • You are okay with guild chat being both quiet and out of control at times.
